St Oswald’s are delighted to announce that we’ve recently received a donation of £603.00 thanks to a fundraising event at Vallum Farm, Hexham.20170401_151257_500x889

The Teapots and Twirls Afternoon Tea Party was held on Saturday 1st April, and combined live music and dancing in the outdoor Paddock Marquee, with afternoon tea, a tombola and a raffle. Entertainment was provided in the form of North East Rock and Roll band, ‘The Rockafellas’, who performed classic songs throughout the afternoon.

A combination of ticket sales, tombola and raffle tickets, and donations on the afternoon, has resulted in £603.00 being raised, all of which will go towards supporting the work of St Oswald’s.

Danielle Callender, Community Fundraiser at St Oswald’s, said:

“We had an incredible time at the Teapots and Twirls event and are extremely grateful to everyone who attended and to those who organised the afternoon. These occasions are a fantastic opportunity to fundraise and engage the whole community. Vallum have supported St Oswald’s now for three years and are committed to continuing to support us in the future. Having relationships which extend as far as Hexham is extremely important to St Oswald’s so we can continue to grow our charity and the strong support network we have.”
